Introductions Are In Order...

This is my introduction post. I feel like I should take this as an opportunity to kind of explain this blog and introduce myself.

First of all, the blog and it's somewhat-confusing title: I have had various blogs since I was probably 13 or 14 years old. My old blogs are like a scrapbook to me. When I read them, it's like I'm time traveling. I can read the words that came from my mind of yesterday. It's like when you smell something that triggers a memory so crazy strong you could swear for a moment you were back there again for a second... that's what reading my old blogs does for me. It reminds me who I was and what was important to me at the time.

My last blog that I wrote on consistently was called, "Be All There", and it's title was based on a quote which says, "Wherever you are, be all there. Live to the hilt every situation you believe to be the will of God." When I started that blog, that quote struck me so profoundly. I was just at that age where who I would be was starting to take form. I was turning the corner from young teenager to the older life I would choose for myself, and I didn't want to miss or mess up a moment of it.

Well, five or six-ish years and a hundred mess ups later, I decided to title this blog, "I'm All(ison) There". I still find the original quote to be really good, but at this point I'm a sophomore in college, and I'm pretty stinkin' happy with my life right now. I am taking each day at a time, trying to maintain who I am, while living every moment to it's fullest. So the title, to me, says I'm here, I'm awake, I'm alive, and I'm living each moment completely there. But also with my name kinda cleverly parenthese-ded, it's also means being who I am, and becoming who I was made to be.

And as far as an actual introduction to me goes: I am a sophomore in college, majoring in English and minoring in Art. I love country music, singing and dancing, and going out with my friends. I have three sisters, one brother, a mom and a dad, and I love them all beyond words. The other day I asked a newer friend of mine to describe what he thinks of my personality, and he said I was "odd... but fun". That's pretty much the most accurate assessment I think I've ever heard, to be honest.

This blog is going to be just about my life as a college student. I'm gonna be posting some stuff I do at school and some stuff I do outside of school, and I just hope at the end of the year I'll be able to look back on it, like I do with my old blogs, and be able to say, "Yep that's all 100% me."
